Great Person

I only had the opportunity to meet Mr. Bertram just a few times, but in those short moments it was evident as to what kind of a person he was. The Chassodim that we hear he did and the honesty as to which he led his his life, no wonder he raised such a proud family. It is an honor to call myself a friend. May he continue to watch over his family and may they continue to be a source of Nachos.

Reb Betzalel Bertram

I knew your Reb Betzalel for many years Approximately 23 years I did work for him , from our Short conversation over the phone- I was amazed how much the man is open minded and looks forward to help another fellow Jew, regardless if it’s help with a גמ״ח or הכנסת כלה or just ביומו תתן שכרו where he was so מקפיד on it - assisting remove stress from people . When I got to meet him finally face to face I was so impressed by His smile , Love and affection which was a huge part of his personality, he Radiated love to people and created Excitement by just seeing him smiling. When I set on The board of directors at the veitzene cheder in Chicago only Yiddish learning cheder מיסודו של הרב מוויטצען בעל שו״ת מקדשי השם זצ״ל it was your father ע״ה who understood the importance of an היימישע חיידער in Chicago and donate substantial donations, Seeing him around his children it was a sight of מלך ביופיו תנצב”ה

Ehrliche Bal Haboos

I davened with him Mincha Maariv in our neighborhood, in the Shomrei emunah shul. so i had many times some talk with him. he was a true ehrliche bal haboos, he was machshiv torah and lomdei torah, and he himself was kovei itim letorah. he will be missed by all that bumped into him.

A pillar of humble Chesed

Davened with him in old Bluzhev for many years, many years ago. Knew his dear father very well too. Humble, self effacing, didn't talk, just did. Smart businessman, true Chosid and Oved Hashem like his father.May he be a Meletz Yosher for all.

He was 70. He was one of the owners of the Bertram Food Company and lived in Boro Park. BDE
