Shloimy Freundlich, an active member of Chevra Ahavas Yisroel Shul who did outreach for young people and singles in the neighborhood, passed away on the first night of Pesach. Shloimy Freundlich, a Crown Heights resident who was active in doing outreach for young people and singles in the neighborhood, passed away on the first night of Pesach, 15 Nissan, 5780. He was 46.Shloimy was an active member of the Chevra Ahavas Yisroel Shul, and was involved in organizing shiurim at the Shul, making sure that Chasidishe yomim tovim were celebrated. Shloimy was active in organizing events for many singles in the neighborhood, and worked to make sure that people had friends and a network to be a part of. He was a very kind and giving person, who constantly looked out for others and offered help to all those who needed.He was known for making large Shabbos meals, in which he hosted people from all walks of life. He is survived by his mother, Esther Freundlich – London, England, and siblings, Chaim Freundlich – London, Daniel Freundlich – Crown Heights, Ruth Brocha – London and Binyamin Mordechai Freundlich – Crown Heights. He was predeceased by his father Moshe.
