Rebitzen Freedman always had her home open to others there was a period of my life where I lived with her and her husband and I boarded for free I learned in her husband’s Kolel which was downstairs . She never made me feel that I wasn’t frum enough or helpful enough just made me feel at home. She would buy supper for the family and ask me what I wanted to eat. I believe that her son Yossi has the same traits as Mrs friedman as he raised me like his son therefore the Rebitzen is my Bubby

An Open House

Our mother relocated many times in her lifetime. She moved from city-to-city, home-to-home, so our father, R' Chaim z"l could disseminate Torah. No matter the place or size of the house, one thing stayed constant. Mommy's home had an open-door policy and was filled with guests. After much suffering, mommy was niftar on Leil Shimurim, a night we open our doors to redemption. Mommy, you have made the ultimate move to bask in the shechina.
