Matmid and Tzanua
When I would pray in Mikdash, he always had a few sefarim opened, shas, rishonim, minchat chinuch... he was always learning and looked very modest. Even though I am an Avrech, I was very much impressed by him. We lost this shining jewel that lived amongst us.
